Make sure to file your nails in the desired shape to allow them to receive a gorgeous and uniform length. Oval shaped nails look best with this type of manicure, but the design can be created on all nail shapes, from round to squared.

Push your cuticles back using a cuticle pusher so your nails can look absolutely amazing. You can also use a cuticle removing solution if you desire as long as the result will give your flawless looking bare nails.

Make sure there are no traces on nail polish on your nails and coat the nails from your index, middle and little finger using the pink colored nail polish. The remaining two fingers, respectively thumb and ring finger are to be coated in green nail polish.

Using the green nail polish trace a thin line over the tip of the pinkish colored nail polishes just like you would be doing for French style manicure.

Allow for the nail polish to dry and using a white matte nail polish with a thin applicator brush , line the bi-colored nails in the transition spot, where the green meets the pink colored nail polish. Trace several vertical lines over the green colored nails to give the aspect of a watermelon shell.

Next, using a the black nail polish apply small dots on the pink nail polish to symbolize the watermelon's seeds.
