It seems that Stacy Irvine from, Birmingham found her ‘guilty pleasure’ in chicken nuggets and has been regularly eating them since she first tasted them at age two. At 17 years old, the girl has admitted she’s been hooked on the tasty chicken nuggets for 15 years now and rarely has something else to eat. According to DailyMail, the 17 year has recently collapsed and has been rushed to the hospital where doctors gave her a series of injections and started her on an urgent course of vitamins.
Although she has been warned by physicians before about her unhealthy eating habits, Ms. Irvine has never eaten fruits or vegetable, and has continued eating her favorite junk food. Due to the lack of vitamins in her organism, Ms Irvine has experienced shortness of breath before eventually collapsing.
At the arrival at the hospital doctors found she had swollen veins in her tongue and suffered from anaemia. After receiving several injections and being put on immediate vitamin treatment, Ms Irvine finally realized that she could seriously suffer from her bad eating habit.
Apparently Ms Irvin’s mother Evonne, 39, has tried to kick her daughter’s habit away and even tried to convince her to go to a specialist but says that her efforts didn’t work. She said:
“It breaks my my heart to see her eating those damned nuggets. She’s been told in no uncertain terms that she’ll die if she carries on like this. But she says she can’t eat anything else.”
Experts say that a diet based only on chicken nuggets and fries can severely affect the organism due to the high content of fat and salt. These foods are low in vitamins and nutrients, so the organism will eventually fail. High blood pressure, increased heart attack chances and a weak immune system are the main consequences of such a poor diet.
