The world came to an end for four women, mother and daughters, after the father, a Canadian based Muslim decided apparently to perform an honor killing of his three daughters and his wife, Rona Amir, 50, and their daughters Zainab, 19, Sahar, 17, and Geeti, 13, after learning that one of his daughters has married a Pakistani man.

Mohammad Shafia, 58, originating from Afghanistan and living as a polygamist, moved to Ontario, Canada in
2009.  Apparently the fact that his daughters were dating and that Zainab married her Pakistani boyfriend enraged Mohammad, who said his daughters and wife were ‘treacherous’.

After the disappearance of the mother and girls, police investigations revealed that Mohammad’s version of accounts did not add up, after declaring he did not know where his family was, and decided to charge him with murder, after discovering the bodies of the four women in a car submerged in the Rideau Canal.

The father was charged along with his second wife Tooba Yahya, 41, and their son, Hamed, 20, and they all pleaded not guilty to the murder charges, while Hamed declared he wasn’t even at the death scene.
The court was presented with recordings which reveal that Shafia was ranting about his daughters dating and the family’s honor.
According to DailyMail, the father speaks about daughters to wife Tooba, which says she knows  Zainab was “already done” but wished the ”two others weren’t” at which point Shafia responds:
“No Tooba, they were treacherous. When I tell you to be patient, you tell me that it is hard. It isn’t harder than watching them every hour with (boyfriends).  For this reason whenever I see those pictures, I am consoled. I say to myself, ‘You did well. Would they come back to life a hundred times, for you to do the same again’.”

Apparently these words are followed with by some horrible curses that target the deceased. The father who now faces trial says:
“May the devil…(defecate) on their graves. Is that what a daughter should be? Would (a daughter) be such a whore?”

Prosecutors revealed that the women drowned but they don’t know if they had drowned in the canal or somewhere else, and that three of the victims had bruising behind their heads. Apparently there was no body sat in the drivers seat as the police recovered the car out of the murky canal water and although one of the windows from the car was open, it appears no one has tried to escape the submerging car.
The trial which targets Shafia, Tooba and Hamed is on the roll.
